HFMA is committed to helping members improve the business performance of their healthcare related organizations; therefore, HFMA maintains a certification program to promote professional development. This professional development certification program is designed to measure the knowledge and understanding of healthcare financial professionals.

The HFMA professional certification designations of FHFMA and CHFP are bestowed on members who demonstrate the required competency in core and specialty areas of healthcare financial management. Those members who earn either or both of these designations, represent an elite segment of HFMA.

In recognition of its responsibility to provide members with an opportunity to enhance their careers, The Hudson Valley NY Chapter purchased the requisite study guides to assist interested members in achieving certification status. These guides can be obtained on a scheduled loan basis.
